Airbus Group Airbus Group consolidates its risk process using Active Risk Manager

Airbus Group, a multinational aeronautical, space, and defence company, faced fragmented risk management after being formed from several European companies with different processes, languages, and systems. This created risk silos, duplicated work, and made it difficult to get a consolidated group-wide view of risk. To address this, Airbus Group selected Sword GRC’s Active Risk Manager (ARM) to support enterprise risk management across the organization.

Sword GRC implemented ARM 5 as a group-wide standard platform to consolidate risk information across multiple networks and entities, with the security needed for Airbus Group’s government and military contracts. The rollout improved transparency, reduced duplication, and enabled better knowledge sharing and decision making. The solution also supported thousands of daily users, aligned with COSO, and helped Airbus Group meet legal governance requirements while improving flexibility, efficiency, and a consolidated view of risk.
