Aeroméxico’s Club Premier, the airline’s coalition loyalty program with 3.5 million members, needed to move a completely offline flight redemption channel online. Building a custom platform to meet its segmentation needs and complex API integrations would have required significant time and resources, so Club Premier looked for a ready solution that could deliver a seamless member experience.
Club Premier partnered with Switchfly to launch an Online Flight Awards channel offering traditional fixed awards and market-priced award tickets priced in kilometers, calendar-based shopping, cash-to-kilometer conversions by member status, and direct bookings into SabreSonic with automated kilometer debits and an agent tool. The solution launched in just over five months, avoided custom development and GDS fees, cut call-center times by 15–30%, and expanded redemption options and customer satisfaction.
