Corus Entertainment, a Canadian multimedia company, faced the challenge of meeting rising audience demand for high-quality social video without compromising its journalistic standards or overburdening its staff with complex and time-consuming production processes. Switcher Studio provided a solution by enabling Corus radio announcers to produce multicamera live streams directly from iPads and iPhones, complete with graphics and real-time audience interaction, without needing a full production crew. As a result, Corus created over 3,000 live videos, significantly expanded their online engagement, and saved on both equipment costs and staff bandwidth. The success led Corus to expand its use of the Switcher platform to more of its stations.
