A Switcher Case Study
The Community Foundation of Louisville, a philanthropic organization connecting donors and nonprofits, faced the challenge of conveying its broad impact and services to drive donations, particularly for its major annual fundraiser. To better tell these critical stories, they initially adopted Facebook Live but sought a more professional and feature-rich solution, leading them to the vendor Switcher and its Switcher Studio live video production platform.
Using Switcher Studio, the foundation enhanced its live streams with text overlays, graphics, and B-roll to drive traffic and donations. For their 24-hour Give for Good event, Switcher enabled them to produce 26 professional videos that facilitated real-time interaction. This effort resulted in 18 million impressions and helped raise $5.4 million, which was nearly $1 million more than the previous year. Switcher provided an affordable and user-friendly solution that allowed the in-house team to tell more stories more effectively.
