Ohio State Auditor centralizes 2,228 performance audits with Switchbox
The Ohio State Auditor faced the challenge of transforming decentralized government knowledge into usable intelligence. They needed a way to share best practices and surface insights from years of audits and cost-saving programs on a DotNetNuke CMS platform that lacked the necessary capabilities. Switchbox was engaged to build a solution.
Switchbox designed and developed a custom platform that extended the DotNetNuke CMS with proprietary data tools, custom search, and an interactive nomination system. The solution provided immediate access to 274 savings programs and 2,228 searchable performance audits, with contributions from all 88 Ohio counties. This created a first-of-its-kind centralized hub for actionable, peer-driven government data, making the state government more collaborative and efficient.
