Switchbox partnered with Dueling Axes, an axe throwing entertainment business, to address a critical operational challenge. As the business expanded, it had no software fit for its unique needs; it was relying on cobbled-together solutions from unrelated industries and manual workarounds for scheduling, payments, and waivers, which severely limited its ability to scale.

Switchbox designed and built a fully integrated booking, waiver, and operations platform using Ruby on Rails and React, purpose-built for the axe throwing experience. This solution not only streamlined Dueling Axes' operations and enabled expansion but was also commercialized as the SaaS product RKd. This platform became the industry standard, now used by over 40 venues nationwide, transforming an in-house fix into a nationwide solution.
