Weiling GmbH, a major German retail company for organic food, faced the challenge of needing to significantly widen its product range while continuing to ensure reliable, short-term deliveries and reduce error rates. To support this growth, they partnered with vendor Swisslog Holding for an automated logistics solution.

The solution implemented by Swisslog consisted of a double-deep pallet high-bay warehouse with two Vectura stacker cranes, providing 6,341 storage locations for fast-moving goods, and an AutoStore system with 37 robots for slow-moving items, offering over 47,000 container spaces. This expandable and efficient system from Swisslog laid the foundation for the organic retailer's additional growth and high operational efficiency.
