The customer, Rhenus Contract Logistics, faced the challenge of managing logistics for over 25 clients in the high-tech and medical device sectors. To address this, they partnered with vendor Swisslog Holding to implement an AutoStore storage and picking system as part of a larger multizone solution.

Swisslog implemented a system featuring 19 AutoStore robots and 21,000 bins, powered by their SynQ software for reliable and ergonomic order picking. As the general contractor, Swisslog was responsible for the integration of all systems, providing a scalable and competitive automated solution that ensures operational continuity for the customer.
