Competec Logistik AG, the logistics arm of the Competec Group (BRACK.CH and Alltron), faced rapidly growing e-commerce volumes and strict same‑day/next‑day delivery expectations that exceeded its decentralized, manual logistics capacity. To centralize and automate fulfillment, Competec selected Swisslog Holding’s Click&Pick® solution built around the AutoStore system (with integrated QuickMove conveyors) to increase density, speed and scalability.

Swisslog Holding implemented a scalable AutoStore Click&Pick® installation that expanded from the initial 70 robots to 165 robots, 125,500 bins and 41 picking stations, plus a 910 m QuickMove conveyor (2,000 bins/h). The system more than doubled storage capacity, enabled same‑day delivery, achieved up to 2,500 picks/hour, and materially reduced labor and operating costs while allowing ongoing expansion without disrupting operations.
