Bio Partner Schweiz AG, a Swiss organic wholesaler, faced a logistics challenge after an acquisition left its product range stored and picked across three separate warehouses. To consolidate storage and streamline order picking, they partnered with vendor Swisslog Holding to implement the AutoStore automated storage and retrieval system.

The Swisslog solution utilized 44 AutoStore robots to manage 25,000 bins, handling up to 900 bins per hour for over 6,000 types of dry goods. Integrated with Swisslog's SynQ warehouse management software, the system achieved a near-zero error rate and allowed for the processing of large volumes with impressive speed. The highly flexible solution provided excellent storage consolidation and quick, accurate order picking.
