Alliance Entertainment, a premier distributor of music, movies, toys, and electronics, sought to enhance its order fulfillment capabilities and reduce costs. They partnered with Swisslog to implement an advanced automation solution to streamline their distribution.

Swisslog implemented a large-scale AutoStore system with over 52,000 bins and 57 Black Line robots, customized to store vinyl records vertically and maximize SKU density. This Swisslog solution allowed Alliance Entertainment to consolidate inventory, eliminating the need for a 190,000 sq ft facility. The results included dramatically increased picking efficiency, better inventory control, reduced fulfillment costs, and a scalable foundation for future growth.
