Visana, one of Switzerland’s leading health insurers, needed a more efficient way to manage its high-volume print output while maintaining strong service quality and reliability. After experiencing shortcomings with an earlier outsourced packaging setup and considering insourcing, Visana sought a solution for its output management, including printing, packaging, and dispatch of customer communications and insurance documents.

Swiss Post Solutions implemented an integrated output management service for Visana, handling data preparation, printing, packaging, and mailing within Swiss Post’s own mail centers. The solution improved efficiency, eliminated internal infrastructure and fixed costs, supported more than 100 print jobs, and enabled reliable processing of about 2.3 million printed pages per year, along with daily, monthly, and annual mass mailings without capacity bottlenecks.
