A Swiss Post Solutions Case Study
Infraserv Höchst, a group with about 2,700 employees and 193 trainees, needed to modernize its aging SAP HCM-based HR management system. The legacy setup had become highly complex and costly to maintain, creating a need for greater standardization, transparency, and long-term investment protection. Swiss Post Solutions (SPS) was brought in to help address these HR process challenges.
Swiss Post Solutions implemented a hybrid “brown field” redesign of the SAP HCM environment, reusing effective processes while revising or standardizing others, and deploying the new system in parallel without data migration. The project preserved historical and retroactive payroll capabilities, minimized disruption for users, and required little internal effort from Infraserv Höchst. As a result, operating prices per master record fell by 15%, with overall redesign-related costs reduced by at least 50%.
