Allianz Suisse, one of Switzerland’s leading insurance companies, needed a way to manage around 3 million incoming physical and electronic mail items and about 4 million outgoing print deliveries each year while keeping service levels high and focusing on its core business. To address this challenge, Allianz Suisse partnered with Swiss Post Solutions to outsource its internal mail service and build a digital document management process for incoming business mail and transactional output.

Swiss Post Solutions implemented an end-to-end solution that collects, sorts, scans, captures, validates, and transmits incoming documents to Allianz Suisse’s IT system on the same day, while also handling high-volume transactional printing and dispatch. The result was faster processing, improved transparency, stronger security and quality controls, and the ability to process more documents with fewer employees; Swiss Post Solutions now supports Allianz Suisse with 4 million print deliveries per year and digital access to all business documents.
