Challenging Project Results in Smooth Go-live With Zero Operational Impact

easyJet, Europe’s leading low-cost carrier, decided to in‑source engineering tasks previously handled by third‑party MRO providers and required a new maintenance‑repair‑overhaul (MRO) system. After an RFI and evaluations, easyJet selected Swiss AviationSoftware’s AMOS as the best fit for required functionality, price and market standing to give the airline greater control over MRO data and maintenance execution.

Swiss AviationSoftware delivered a mostly “vanilla” AMOS implementation in 14 months, on time and below budget, with CrossConsense supporting migration of legacy data for 160 aircraft and a zero‑operational‑impact go‑live. Today Swiss AviationSoftware’s AMOS supports maintenance planning for roughly 200 A319/A320s, is used by over 1,000 users (about 300 initially trained), has been live for a year with no major issues, and provides easyJet instant access to its MRO data.
