Penny Lane Builders (PLB), a Garston, Liverpool–based general building contractor with 200+ staff, needed a contactless, easy-to-use visitor and employee sign-in system to replace paper books and keep sites COVID-secure. PLB subscribed to SwipedOn’s Enterprise plan and rolled out the SwipedOn sign-in app and SwipedOn Pocket across six worksites to protect employee health, reduce non-essential contact, and maintain compliance.

SwipedOn implemented QR code contactless sign-in, health screening questionnaires, visitor approvals, email alerts, multi-location management and a real-time web dashboard for reporting. SwipedOn’s solution allowed PLB to remain operational during the pandemic, improve accuracy and compliance, perform contact tracing at the touch of a button and streamline site management across its six sites for 200+ staff while reducing paper waste.
