XPO Logistics, a top-ten global transportation and logistics provider with 25,000 employees across the UK and Europe, needed to modernize reception at multiple sites by replacing slow paper visitor books with a hygienic, easy-to-use digital system that automated visitor sign-in and worked contactlessly during the COVID-19 pandemic. XPO deployed the SwipedOn workplace management solution to meet these needs.

SwipedOn provided an intuitive visitor-management platform—including contactless QR sign-in, SwipedOn Pocket for employee sign-in, badge printing and contact-tracing reports—that sped up check-ins, let visitors sign in without receptionist assistance, and ensured all visitors could be accounted for during fire drills. As a result, XPO reduced manual processing, maintained operations through the pandemic, and has expanded SwipedOn to 27 sites while gaining faster sign-ins, evacuation accountability, and improved hygiene and traceability.
