Lush Cosmetics, the global handmade cosmetics retailer with over 10,000 employees, needed to replace a paper visitor book to cut paper waste, improve data privacy, and provide hygienic sign-ins during COVID-19. Lush Cosmetics engaged SwipedOn in 2019 to deploy the SwipedOn sign in system and modernize reception processes while aligning with its environmental and ethical values.

SwipedOn rolled out a centrally managed sign-in solution (contactless QR sign-in, SwipedOn Pocket app, auto sign-out, multi-location/roaming, customizable branding and screening questions) that gave Lush total visibility of who was on premises across sites and supported hybrid working. The result was reduced paper waste and improved compliant data handling, fewer shared-touch surfaces during the pandemic, streamlined operations across locations, and added environmental benefits via SwipedOn’s tree-planting initiative.
