Supelco needed a solution for producing highly formatted documents in their Performance Appraisal System based on Lotus Notes

Supelco, a subsidiary of Sigma-Aldrich in the biotechnology industry, needed a better way to produce highly formatted performance appraisal documents in a Lotus Notes-based system. Their eight-page Word appraisal form was difficult to manage for 265 employees, and printing the Notes version often lost tables and formatting. SWING Software’s Integrator for Notes was introduced to solve the document output problem.

SWING Software implemented SWING Integrator with the Notes database in less than a day, allowing the team to map Notes data into Word for professional-quality printing. The result was faster appraisal processing, better-looking forms, and no additional software for users to learn or install. Supelco reported that the solution saved significant time, reduced manual review work across 265 appraisals, and was later reused for labels, Excel charts, and purchase orders.
