GRZ IT Center Improves Workflow With SWING PDF Converter

GRZ IT Center GmbH, one of Austria’s largest data centers, used several IBM Notes workflow applications to manage job execution orders and had to share documents with non-Notes users while also archiving large volumes of email records. To meet these needs, GRZ IT Center turned to SWING Software and its PDF Converter for Notes.

SWING Software implemented automated PDF export on a central 64-bit Windows Server, using Archiving Jobs to convert selected Notes databases, mailboxes, and workflow documents to PDF and save them in a network folder for import into Windream. The result was an estimated savings of 300–400 man-hours per month, with SWING PDF Converter now processing three key Notes applications and many mailboxes, and more applications planned for automation.
