KNOT Uses Skylark to Improve GNSS Accuracy in its Suite of Micromobility Solutions and Infrastructure

KNOT, a French e-scooter sharing company, faced a challenge with its micromobility solutions. Their conventional GNSS navigation lacked the precision needed to accurately define both physical and virtual parking stations and to ensure overall user safety. To overcome this, KNOT turned to Swift Navigation and implemented its Skylark Precise Positioning Service.

Swift's Skylark service corrected errors in the GNSS signal, drastically improving location accuracy from several meters down to less than half a meter. This high level of precision allowed KNOT to reliably provide fixed and virtual parking infrastructure, ensuring a safer and more efficient experience for riders and pedestrians. The implementation of Skylark has been integral to KNOT's mission of revolutionizing scooter sharing.
