Spinn, maker of a Wi‑Fi–enabled countertop coffee brewer and a curated marketplace of independent roasters, needed a seamless way to present 1,000+ coffees, integrate 400+ roasters with its mobile app and IoT brewer, and support one‑off, recurring and automatic ordering plus a vendor dashboard. To solve this, Spinn partnered with Swell and used Swell’s marketplace platform (with Stripe Connect for split payments) to deliver the connected ordering and vendor-management capability they required.
Swell implemented a fully integrated marketplace with clear vendor onboarding, a roaster dashboard, product approval workflow, and mobile app + IoT integration — customers can filter coffees, scan a bag to program brewing recipes, and enable auto‑reordering or subscriptions. The platform now supports 400+ roasters and 1,000+ coffees, streamlines split payments via Stripe Connect, and has given Spinn the operational scale and growth capacity their CEO says “has been like a spring for Spinn.”
