The Episcopal Diocese of Alabama ran the Sawyerville Summer Challenge to support its Sawyerville Summer Camp and needed a two‑week, online-only fundraiser that matched the camp’s branding, kept donors engaged, incorporated matching/offline gifts, and allowed easy page updates. They partnered with Swell Fundraising, using Swell’s online fundraising platform and user dashboard to build and manage the campaign quickly.

Swell Fundraising’s dashboard enabled a branded campaign with camper-driven incentives, ticketed “Pie in the Face” and “Cool Down” challenges, leaderboards, social sharing, and the addition of offline transactions and matching grants to the event total. The campaign raised $33,335 from 223 transactions with 203 registered fundraisers, bringing in dozens of new donors and strong momentum for the camp.
