Providing MaaS Ride-sharing Service for J:COM Salespeople

J:COM, a major provider of cable TV, internet, and utilities, sought to implement a ride-sharing service for its sales team as part of an internal innovation plan and to eventually expand the service to local communities. To address the logistical challenges and regulatory barriers, they partnered with SWAT Mobility and its On Demand product.

SWAT Mobility implemented a ride-sharing application that allows J:COM’s salespeople to book shared rides to customer appointments. The SWAT app handles all transportation logistics, with vehicles arriving within 10 minutes of a booking. This solution reduced the number of vehicles required and saved salespeople time previously spent parking and walking. As a result, some offices saw an average reduction of 10 hours in monthly overtime and a 20% increase in contracts fulfilled by the sales team.
