How the OECD Forum engaged senior policy makers from 66 countries

The OECD runs the annual OECD Forum, a two‑day international conference that in 2018 brought together 4,000 participants, 238 speakers and leaders from 131 countries to discuss global economic and social challenges. To engage senior policy makers, manage parallel sessions and facilitate high‑level networking, the OECD partnered with Swapcard and deployed Swapcard’s event app.

Swapcard’s app enabled attendees to discover speakers, bookmark sessions, create personalized agendas and register for sessions — resulting in 2,788 registrations through the app, 93% of active users creating their own schedule and an average of 10.6 sessions attended by users who built a program. By improving session coordination and meeting discovery, Swapcard increased senior engagement (54% of senior attendees active on the app) and strengthened networking and long‑term relationships.
