uRyde is a B2B mobility provider in Germany that wanted to help employers support more sustainable employee transportation through a mobility budget. To do this, the company needed a simple financial infrastructure that would let users book and pay for ridesharing, shuttle buses, public transport, and other mobility services inside one app, without taking on heavy regulatory complexity.

Swan provided the embedded finance foundation by powering virtual debit cards inside the uRyde app, allowing employers to top up employee mobility budgets and users to spend them on qualified transport options. With Swan, uRyde launched its virtual card offering in May 2023 and quickly saw strong adoption, with more than 80% of existing users using their monthly budget, helping the company improve retention, expand revenue, and deliver a more complete mobility experience.
