The MSBase Foundation, a not-for-profit organization, faced technical and usability limitations with its international Multiple Sclerosis patient registry. To overcome these challenges and improve the platform for global research, the foundation engaged Svitla Systems for a comprehensive redevelopment of the registry and its associated data entry software.

Svitla Systems architected and delivered a new, seamlessly integrated web-based application on a Microsoft technology stack. The solution incorporated IoT to interface with devices like MRI machines, giving the foundation greater control and enabling advanced data search and visualization. This redevelopment has powered a world-first endeavor to integrate volumetric MRI metrics directly into the registry, which has in turn led to generous new grants for ongoing research projects aimed at drastically improving patient outcomes.
