A SustainIQ Case Study
Henry Brothers used SustainIQ to support the delivery of Alfreton Park Community Special School, a two-phase construction project in Derbyshire involving a new special school, demolition of the existing site, and return of the land to parkland. The team needed a way to track a wide range of sustainability and project data, including local procurement, subcontractor impacts, waste, energy, water, emissions, ecology, timber sourcing, community initiatives, and apprenticeship hours.
SustainIQ provided Henry Brothers with a central platform to capture data at source and generate real-time graphs, charts, compliance checks, KPI reports, and benchmarking across projects. The results included 98.6% of construction waste diverted from landfill, 362.9kg of scope 3 carbon emissions captured from deliveries, waste, and business mileage, and 180 weeks of apprenticeship employment from six apprentices. Henry Brothers said SustainIQ improved transparency, supported paperless reporting, and helped them manage carbon and meet site and company KPIs.
