The company engaged Morningstar Sustainalytics to conduct a Corporate Impact Report that would provide a quantifiable assessment of its product's environmental, social, and economic influence.

Sustainalytics' report analyzed three specific IoT use cases and forecasted significant positive outcomes. Based on Ossia's sales projections, Sustainalytics estimated that implementing Cota technology could avoid 694 kilotons of battery waste, reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 5,108 tons, and potentially contribute $3.3 billion to U.S. GDP while supporting thousands of jobs annually.
