A Sustainable Marketing Case Study
The Model Aeronautical Association of Australia (MAAA), the country’s largest aeromodelling organisation, needed help improving member engagement, retention, growth, and public visibility. Sustainable Marketing was engaged as an outsourced marketing partner to provide marketing planning, digital strategy, website support, social media, public relations, member research, event management, and the launch of a new digital magazine.
Sustainable Marketing delivered an integrated program that included a new website, the quarterly digital magazine Wingspan, annual member surveys, social media growth, PR campaigns, and event support. The results included membership growth to 9,653 in 2017/2018, retention rising to 93% during COVID, Net Promoter Score improvement from -11.77 to 40, Facebook growth from 1,450 to 13,083 fans, newsletter open rates of 46.4%, and strong reach from PR and event campaigns, demonstrating a significant uplift in engagement and awareness.
