Model Aeronautical Association of Australia (MAAA), the largest aeromodelling organisation in Australia, wanted to raise awareness of its sport and association, attract families and the next generation of aeromodellers, and strengthen its profile with a wider audience. Sustainable Marketing helped the MAAA with event marketing and PR for the F1 Air Race Sandown 2016, supporting promotion of the event and the broader aeromodelling community.

Sustainable Marketing delivered a fully integrated campaign that included national TV coverage, magazine advertorials, in-house digital magazine promotion, radio advertising, a dedicated campaign website, and Facebook marketing. The results included approximately 3,500 event attendees, a 20% increase over 2015, more than 7,300 unique website visitors, national TV coverage, and strong word-of-mouth feedback that the event was a success.
