Hang Gliding Federation of Australia (now Sports Aviation Federation of Australia) engaged Sustainable Marketing as an outsourced marketing partner to help increase member retention, lift the sport’s visibility, and modernize its brand and communications. The organization needed strategic support across marketing planning, member research, public relations, digital marketing, social media, crisis communications, and change management.
Sustainable Marketing implemented an integrated marketing and PR program that included a new website, refreshed brand positioning, member newsletters, annual surveys, social media management, and media campaigns for major air sports events and athletes. The work helped improve member satisfaction and engagement, grow Facebook fans and interactions, increase membership demand, and raise mainstream media awareness of the sport across Australia, while also strengthening the federation’s professional image and safe-sport reputation.
