A Suse Case Study
Wright Flood, a major U.S. flood insurance provider, had standardized on SUSE Linux Enterprise Server but was struggling with time-consuming manual server updates and PCI DSS compliance audits. The team had to patch systems after hours and manually track security fixes across about 20 virtual servers, creating a growing operational burden.
Suse implemented SUSE Manager to centralize server management, automate updates, and simplify compliance tracking from one console. As a result, Wright Flood cut update tasks from hours to minutes and reduced audit documentation time from at least a day to about half an hour, while improving security and compliance.
