Suse implemented a multi-tenanted SAP HANA platform using IBM POWER8 virtualization and SUSE Linux Enterprise Server for SAP Applications, enabling secure sharing of infrastructure across clients. The results were strong: UCS Solutions achieved up to 600% faster query performance, cut one set of complex SAP process chains from nearly 14 hours to under 7, and reduced storage requirements by 90%.
