A Suse Case Study
Stichting Epilepsie Instellingen Nederland (SEIN), a Dutch healthcare and research foundation focused on epilepsy care, education, and residential support, needed a secure way to share sensitive patient and research data across siloed systems and with external hospitals and institutions. The organization chose SUSE Linux Enterprise Server as the operating system foundation for an integration platform built with WSO2 Carbon, implemented by Yenlo, to improve data exchange and support compliance with healthcare integration standards.
With SUSE, SEIN deployed a scalable, secure, and flexible platform that centralized information exchange and connected previously separate systems. The solution cut data exchange time and budget by more than 60 percent, enabled secure sharing of medical and patient information, and reduced reliance on costly proprietary software, while giving SEIN a robust 24/7-supported environment for mission-critical operations.
