Smartodds, a London-based statistical research company specializing in sports modeling, needed to scale its data-driven operations while improving reliability, 24/7 availability, and efficiency. As its data volumes and number of statistical models grew, the company turned to Suse and products including SUSE CaaS Platform, SUSE Linux Enterprise Server, and SUSE Manager to support its containerized infrastructure and DevOps workflows.

Suse implemented an enterprise container management platform to replace Smartodds’ custom-built setup, standardize deployments, and automate operations. The result was faster releases, with deployment time cut from 30 minutes to about one minute, up to 30x faster, plus lower operating costs, better resource utilization, improved resiliency, and fewer dependency conflicts across applications and models.
