Sereno Clouds, a cloud broker and provider serving enterprise customers across Asia-Pacific, wanted to expand beyond brokerage into its own private cloud services as demand for cloud computing grew. The challenge was to offer secure, flexible, and cost-effective IaaS while easing concerns around data residency, security, and control. Sereno Clouds turned to Suse, using SUSE OpenStack Cloud along with SUSE Linux Enterprise Server and SUSE Manager.

Suse helped Sereno Clouds build a highly automated private cloud platform that could provision and manage customer environments quickly and reliably. The result was faster time-to-market for new private clouds, simpler operations, and less manual maintenance, with six physical servers supporting more than 60 virtual servers. Suse’s solution also enabled Sereno Clouds to lower delivery costs and offer competitive pricing to clients, helping reduce total cost of ownership and free IT staff to focus on higher-value work.
