QSC AG, a major German IT and communication services provider, needed a way to let mid-market customers combine colocated infrastructure with public-cloud-like speed and flexibility without adding complexity, latency, or security risk. To address this challenge, QSC AG chose Suse’s SUSE OpenStack Cloud and SUSE Enterprise Storage for its new hybrid cloud offering.

Suse implemented an enterprise-grade OpenStack environment backed by software-defined storage, enabling QSC AG to build a secure, low-latency cloud service inside its own data centers. The result was a unique hybrid-cloud proposition for the German market, with customers able to provision private cloud environments in seconds, scale resources dynamically, and connect to colocated systems with no noticeable performance impact.
