Peerless Clothing - Customer Case Study

Peerless Clothing, the largest domestic producer of men’s tailored clothing in North America, needed a more stable, flexible and cost-effective platform to support new SAP applications as its business grew. Its existing UNIX environment was too expensive and inflexible, and its small IT team also needed a better way to manage desktops across three locations. Peerless Clothing chose **Suse** and **SUSE Linux Enterprise Server** after comparing Linux options.

**Suse** helped Peerless Clothing deploy its SAP environment on SUSE Linux Enterprise Server, with Adaris Technologies assisting the migration and VMware used for server virtualization. The result was at least **US$700,000 in savings** versus a UNIX-based solution, **90% less hardware**, and **90% faster desktop imaging**. Peerless Clothing also says the solutions paid for themselves in the **first six months** and enabled the IT team to support growth without adding resources.
