With call volumes rising fast, the company had to upgrade its telephony platform to support future growth while staying highly reliable; it worked with SUSE and Clarotech, using Asterisk on SUSE Linux Enterprise Server.
SUSE helped deliver a scalable, high-availability solution built on SUSE Linux Enterprise Server and SUSE Linux Enterprise High Availability Extension. The new setup supported rapid growth, minimized downtime risk through clustering, and delivered the same functionality and performance as proprietary alternatives for just 25% of the cost, with overall savings of about 75% versus comparable proprietary solutions.
