A Suse Case Study
oXya, a managed services provider for SAP ERP solutions, needed to standardize operating system builds across its clients’ hosted SAP landscapes on SUSE Linux Enterprise Server for SAP Applications. Without a centralized way to manage repositories and updates, maintaining consistency, tracking affected systems, and proving compliance was time-consuming and difficult.
oXya implemented SUSE Manager from Suse to create a separate package repository for each client and manage OS lifecycles across Dev, QA, pre-production, and production environments. Suse helped oXya cut repository creation and update time from five hours to under one hour, accelerate security patching, save time and disk space, and improve visibility for compliance and vulnerability response.
