Inovelan, a France-based provider of secure health-data sharing solutions, needed a way to let healthcare organizations exchange sensitive patient information safely without adding IT burden. To address this challenge, Inovelan worked with Suse and used SUSE Linux Enterprise Server, SUSE Studio, and SUSE Manager to build and manage its SantNET Box appliance.

Suse enabled Inovelan to create fully managed, customized appliances with stronger control over deployment, maintenance, and security. The result was a faster build phase, deployment time and cost cut in half, and an estimated 18-month acceleration of the business plan. Inovelan also grew to 250 clients, transmitted more than 4 million messages, and shared over 2.7 million patient documents securely.
