Implema, an SAP consulting and hosting company serving small and midsized businesses, needed a reliable, cost-effective way to offer SAP HANA and support clients’ analytics journeys. The challenge was to launch a future-proof hosting service that would help customers control costs and allow Implema to compete in a tough market. Suse’s SUSE Linux Enterprise Server for SAP Applications was the platform they chose.

Suse implemented SUSE Linux Enterprise Server for SAP Applications, and Implema later began deploying SUSE Manager to automate updates and patching. The results included successfully migrating ten customers to SAP HANA on time and within budget, running more than 30 SAP HANA instances, and improving reliability, performance, and cost efficiency with low administration overhead.
