Heritage Foods Ltd., a fast-growing Indian retail and dairy company, was struggling to keep its SAP ERP environment reliable and performant on a proprietary UNIX platform. The result was a more stable, easier-to-manage SAP platform with IT costs cut by 50 percent, SAP job runtimes reduced by up to 93 percent, screen-change response times improved by 76 percent, inbound iDoc processing sped up by 77 percent, and disaster recovery time reduced from an estimated 16 hours to just two hours.
