Hamm Reno Group GmbH, one of Europe’s largest footwear retailers and wholesalers, needed real-time visibility into prices, inventory, and sales to support seamless omni-channel services like click-and-collect. As online and mobile demand grew, its existing systems added complexity to inventory planning and distribution. The company worked with Suse and partner Axians, using SAP HANA on SUSE Linux Enterprise Server for SAP Applications on IBM Power Systems.

Suse helped Hamm Reno Group migrate its core SAP Business Warehouse to a faster, more stable platform with built-in support for SAP HANA and high availability features. The new setup enabled instant sales and stock analytics, faster planning simulations, and smoother click-and-collect operations. It also reduced system provisioning time and avoided about EUR 20,000 in hardware costs per new SAP HANA system, improving agility and lowering operational effort.
