Fitch Ratings, a global credit ratings and research firm, wanted to move from a traditional on-premises data center to a cloud-first strategy and migrate its SAP ECC, BW and EPM10 applications to AWS. Working with Suse and its partner Protera Technologies, Fitch chose SUSE Linux Enterprise Server for SAP Applications to support SAP HANA in the cloud and reduce risk during the migration.

Suse implemented SUSE Linux Enterprise Server for SAP Applications on AWS, helping Fitch complete a sandbox migration in about four weeks. The new environment cut process chains from hours to minutes, increased flexibility for ad hoc loads, and delivered a functional AWS-based environment in weeks instead of months, giving Fitch greater confidence in performance, availability, and migration success.
