FIS-ASP - Customer Case Study

FIS-ASP, the hosting and IT-outsourcing subsidiary of FIS Group, needed to expand its service offering and handle growing customer demand without increasing manual effort or staff. To do this, it turned to Suse, using SUSE OpenStack Cloud, SUSE Enterprise Storage, and SUSE Linux Enterprise Server to build a more automated, scalable platform for SAP hosting and cloud services.

Suse helped FIS-ASP standardize deployments, automate provisioning, and move storage to a flexible software-defined model on commodity hardware. The results were faster system delivery, with complex environments dropping from 40–60 days to just 2–3 days, around 50% lower storage costs, and 20% less time spent on administration, improving efficiency and service quality.
