Suse helped Emmelibri migrate most of its SAP landscape to SUSE Linux Enterprise Server for SAP Applications, fully virtualized on VMware and standardized on a single platform. The result was a faster, more scalable SAP environment with improved availability, rapid server deployment, and snapshot backups. Emmelibri also reported a 25% reduction in software and hardware costs, along with zero incremental software cost for expanding virtual servers.
