Delta Lloyd - Customer Case Study

Delta Lloyd, a leading Dutch insurance and financial services group, needed to modernize key IT systems to support new web services and move a major application off IBM AIX after vendor support for that platform ended. To simplify management and control costs, the company chose **SUSE** and standardized on **SUSE Linux Enterprise Server** across its growing Linux environment.

**SUSE** helped Delta Lloyd deploy SUSE Linux Enterprise Server on more than 75 servers for WebSphere and other applications, while also supporting virtualized test and development systems. The result was a successful go-live with no significant issues, lower software licensing and maintenance costs, reduced infrastructure expenses by moving to x86 hardware, and easier administration through a single Linux platform and skill set.
