Cloud4com, a Prague-based IT infrastructure and data center services provider, wanted to expand its SAP hosting business and create a secure, cost-effective cloud platform for SAP HANA. The company faced the challenge of helping customers move away from expensive on-premises hardware while meeting SAP’s performance, availability, and security requirements.

SUSE provided Cloud4com with SUSE Linux Enterprise Server for SAP Applications, along with high availability and security features to support SAP HANA in the cloud. The solution helped Cloud4com launch a TDI-certified SAP HANA platform in the Czech Republic, improve flexibility and scalability for customers like E-commerce Holding, Adastra, and Marvinpac CZ, and reduce infrastructure costs by shifting from capital-intensive hardware to a shared cloud model.
